Dr. Marta López Matllo
I am Marta López Matllo, a Spanish dentist based in Zwolle, Overijssel. I work in general dentistry, implantology, prevention and aesthetic dentistry, with an approach based on careful planning, clear communication and personal care.
For me, each patient needs more than a quick solution. I want to understand the case, explain the alternatives and recommend treatments that make clinical sense while respecting oral health, function and a natural-looking smile.

Beyond the clinic
Outside the clinic, I like to stay active and find moments to disconnect. I enjoy hiking, mountain activities, dancing, travelling and going to the gym; a mix that helps me recharge, clear my head and keep my biceps ready for extraction days.
Work philosophy
My way of working starts with listening. Before recommending a treatment, I try to make sure each patient understands what is happening, what options exist and what each decision involves.
I believe in preventive, honest and well-planned dentistry. The goal is not to treat for the sake of treating, but to choose the most appropriate option to preserve health, function and comfort over time.
Professional path
Since moving to the Netherlands, I have worked in different clinical settings, including previous experience in Dedemsvaart and Vriezenveen. I currently see patients at Tandartspraktijk IJsselmuiden and Mondzorg Dalfsen, where I combine general care, case planning and treatments focused on preserving and improving oral health.
My training in dentistry, dental prosthetics and implantology allows me to assess each case with a broader perspective. Continuing education remains part of my daily work, especially in areas such as digital planning, implantology and natural aesthetics.
